Turks recap: Emerald Beach
By Thursday we'd settled into a routine of making breakfast, heading to the beach, and just relaxing. Usually after the beach we'd head back to the resort, rinse off the sand, and take a dip in the pool. Thursday was no different, but it was probably my favorite day in Provo. Maybe because I was hanging on to the little bit of paradise I had left?
As I said above, we woke up, ate breakfast and headed out to Emerald Beach. This was another beach recommended by Max (love that guy!) and it did not disappoint. Max also suggested bringing chairs and an umbrella since it didn't have any trees for shade, so we did just that.
After arriving, we picked our spot and settled in for a few hours of reading. Every now and then we'd play in the water or take some pictures, but the day was all about relaxation. We saw six people the entire time we were there. Four were playing in the water a couple hundred feet away while the other two just passed by on a morning stroll. Yet again, it felt like we had the beach to ourselves. :)
This was another place that promised soft white beach and calm turquoise waters, but we what found was similar to the day before at Northwest Point. Don't get me wrong- it was still gorgeous! It's just funny to think how different our experience was.
Here are a few pictures we snapped that day.
After leaving Emerald Beach, we headed back to Grace Bay (those pictures were posted here) and later Ports of Call for some shopping. Sadly the Caicos Cafe where we hoped to have lunch was closed, but we still had fun walking around the shops and spending a little hard earned money!
That night featured dinner at the Tiki Hut, where we feasted on Alaskan King crab legs and grilled grouper. (Side note: while the crab legs were super expensive [$40!], it was a ton of food and they brought it out already cracked. Worth every penny!)
And with that, our last full day in Provo is over. The final installment of our trip recap will be posted later today, so stop by to check it out!

Gosh...it really is gorgeous. You guys take great photos!!!!
