My latest Freecycle scores

I have had great luck with getting things off Freecycle. Everything from end tables to a dart board to an iPod docking station. My latest Freecycle scores include something for the pooches and something for me.

One lady was getting rid of 25 foot long rawhide bones. Our kids love to loosen the rawhide and then swallow a huge chunk, so I was worried about this happening... but so far so good. They have barely left the bones alone since we gave it to them. I guess they approve :)

Now... my present :) A new dining room light. The one hanging when we bought the house was the typical brass five light chandelier. I hated it, but was too cheap to actually buy a new one. So we bought a $2 can of spray paint and made it silver. See:

Well, someone was giving away a much nicer one, and I was able to snag it.
