Pictures from the lake

I know I promised to post the pictures from the lake last night, but I wasn't able to upload any pictures to my site. I tried for at least 30 minutes, and after getting 50+ error messages, I gave up. This morning the site isn't much better, but I was able to upload them individually. Because of that, I had to pick and choose the best of the best. I'll hopefully be able to post more in the next couple days!

I know there aren't many photos here, but like I said, I hope to post more later on. This small sampling gives you a pretty good idea of what we did- swam, played in the sand and ate. Great way to spend the day if you ask me!

Unfortunately at around 3pm, a thunderstorm rolled in so we had to pack up our stuff (very quickly) and head out. My sister-in-law, who happens to be a lifeguard, noticed the clouds and suggested we keep an eye on them. Less than five minutes later we decided the clouds were a bit too ominous for our liking, so we booked it back to the cars. Had we left when she pointed out the clouds, it would have been perfect timing. We ended up getting soaked on our sprint back to the cars. Oh well, at least most of us were in our bathing suits, right?! :)

And like my sister said- "When was the last time you got caught in the rain?"... Well, my answer was "When we got engaged". But that was hail. On the Fourth of July. Yeah, hail. But then again, it makes for a great story.
