Moley, moley, moley
Some of you may know that I was worried about some moles that the Mr. had on his back. I scheduled an appointment for him with a dermatologist to get them checked out since I am far from a doctor, and I'd rather be safe than sorry. Well, the appointment was yesterday, and overall it went well. There is one mole that they are rather concerned about and so they did a skin biopsy on it. Now I have a crippled husband again. I kid, I kid- he only has one stitch in his back that I need to re-bandage every day.
There are a few other moles that they want me to keep an eye on, so hopefully I don't let him down. No pressure Mrs. Foot. Just keep a very close eye on them and if they change and you don't notice, your husband could die of skin cancer. So keep a close eye on them. AHHHHH!!! No, but really. I'll be OK. And hopefully he will be, too ;)
After the appointment I dropped off the Mr. and went to Michael's to do a little looking around. I've been chatting with him about starting a hobby, and scrapbooking and card making are at the top of my list. I love the idea of being crafty, because I've always really enjoyed it. I think back to when I was a pre-teen and I used to do crafts all the time. More country-like, but still crafts! So I know there is a craft bone somewhere hidden in this body.
Since I really love the scrapbook I bought off Etsy, I thought I'd use that as inspiration. So I went to buy some paper and pre-made kits to start with. A little bit of ribbon, some stickers, and a couple other little things. One of the main reasons I love Michael's is because they are always having sales, so all the ribbon was $1. Other things were 20%-40% off, which can really help. Plus I had a coupon for 20% off my entire purchase. So total, I spent a little over $50, and I got a ton of stuff. I'm excited to try it out, and if it doesn't work out, I could probably sell the things I bought so I don't lose all that money.
And even more amazing was when I came home, the Mr. had done some laundry, cleaned up the kitchen, and fixed the dresser drawer that's been a bit wobbly lately. I told him I needed to leave more often if that was what happened ;) So to my lovely husband- thanks again. I love you!
